Together with 12 pupils from grade 1-4, we undertook an architectural experiment for the duration of one week. After having heard about architectural basics, we learned more about frame construction and experienced that in detail by building octahedron models of different kinds. Afterwards we built a wooden octahedron, each side 1.80 m long. The triangular shaped sides have been strung in a regular pattern of triangles, knotted on the sides with ca. 2,000 first aid blankets. A wonderful, mystical and peaceful space has been created by the kids.
